As a listing agent, Marion helps her sellers through every aspect of the selling process.  She guides sellers in preparing their home for sale, pricing strategy, negotiating offers, disclosures, contingencies removal - all the way to the final close of escrow.

Marion is a firm believer in home staging because she knows that staged homes typically sell faster and/or for more money.  To be of even more value to her sellers, she took the training and earned the Accredited Staging Professional designation (ASP).

What Exactly Is Staging?

Staging is an important step in marketing your home.  There are a lot of misconceptions about staging.  Some people think it is cleaning the house and making necessary repairs.  While it is absolutely necessary to have your house sparkling clean and to make needed repairs, this is not staging.  Some people confuse staging with decorating.  Decorating is personalizing a home.  Staging is de-personalizing a home.  Many people think staging is really expensive and only done on high-end homes.  This is not true.  A home in any price range should be staged and usually can be done with little or no cost.

Staging:
  • Is done to highlight your home's strengths and special features.
  • Makes the house appeal to the largest possible pool of buyers.
  • Helps buyers to picture their family and their belongings in the home.
  • Sets your house apart from others on the market that are not staged.
